Did you know that for the past 6 years the South Carolina Juneteenth Freedom Fest has been a volunteer run organization?
Every year tons of individuals give of their time to make the Festival a success. It all starts with our 3 member volunteer Board of Directors who work tirelessly year round to plan and execute the biggest summer event in Columbia, SC.
As this year's Festival draws near, our board members begin calling on individuals to help in a variety of ways...
from manning admission booths to selling merchandise, assisting with children's activities, and setting up / tearing down equipment at the SC State Fairgrounds.
We also reach out to local businesses and partner with them for sponsorships and donations.
It is so heartwarming to see how our community steps up to support this Festival!
