About the event

Homeownership has long been one of the most powerful tools for building generational wealth in America. In fact, homeowners typically have significantly higher net worth than renters, making ownership one of the most important pathways to long-term financial stability.

That is why, during Juneteenth Week, we're creating a space to have real conversations about credit, budgeting, mortgage readiness, down payment assistance, and the homebuying process.

Juneteenth is about freedom, but freedom is strengthened by opportunity, ownership, and access to knowledge. Understanding how to purchase and keep a home can help families build a foundation that lasts for generations.

A special thank you to our presenting partner, Truist Bank, and our community partners, Venue 817, Small Name Big Results Realty, Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity, Journey Towards Purpose, and EDGE Home Finance for helping make this opportunity available.
