The 10th Annual South Carolina Juneteenth Freedom Fest is more than a celebration.
It is a declaration.
A declaration that the story of freedom in America is still being written, and that we have a responsibility to shape what comes next.
On Saturday, June 20, 2026, thousands will gather at Finlay Park in Columbia, South Carolina, for a historic milestone honoring 10 years of culture, resilience, remembrance, and community empowerment. Under this year’s theme, “The Future We Owe Ourselves,” the South Carolina Juneteenth Freedom Fest invites people of all backgrounds to come together for a day rooted in history, driven by purpose, and focused on building stronger futures.
This year’s festival will feature live national entertainment, cultural performances, Black-owned businesses, community resources, food vendors, youth activities, health and wellness initiatives, fireworks, educational experiences, and opportunities for meaningful connection across generations.
But Juneteenth has never only been about looking backward.
